Relief for November 2020 LoC Victims
Many innocent civilians were affected by a ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) between Pakistan and India in November which resulted in the loss of life and property. Residents on the Pakistan LoC were facing some tough few months as temperatures dropped below freezing and many villages would have been cut off by the snow. Thanks to our generous donors, over £65,000 was raised in under 3 days to support the affected people.

The Story of Atiq Ur Rehman
Atiq Ur Rehman, a disabled child from birth was orphaned following the death of his father. His disability also became the cause for his mother to abandon him. With nobody willing to care for him, his aunt brought him to KORT which is now his home.
Sewing Machine & Wheelchair Distributions Oct 20
By the blessing of Almighty Allah and the support of our kind donors, 350 sewing machines were provided to poor and unemployed women and widows of Swabi KPK Pakistan so they can earn a living and support their families. 30 wheelchairs were provided to the less able needy people as part of our ongoing ‘Turning disability into ability’ program.
KORT Sports Complex is Officially Open
Praise be to Almighty Allah, with the support and generosity of our amazing donors, the KORT Sports Complex has been inaugurated and has been a huge source of excitement and happiness for the orphaned children in our care.

Earthquake Remembrance Rally and 15th Anniversary of KORT
8th October 2020 marked 15 years since a devastating earthquake claimed thousands of lives across Azad Kashmir and also 15 years since the inception of KORT. Hundreds of people gathered in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, to remember and pray for the martyrs of the 2005 earthquake, and also for the martyrs of the September 2019 Mirpur earthquake.
Water Project Update Sept 2020
With the support of our generous donors, inaugurations for 4 newly built Water Filtration Plants took place in Abdupur, Islamghar, Jorriyan Malikabad and Panyam Chakswari AJK. These Water Plants will help thousands of people with clean drinking water. Thank you to all our donors and Muskorteers who supported this noble cause.
Earthquake Housing Inaugurations Sept 2020
In September 2020, 16 newly built houses were inaugurated and the keys were handed over to the deserving families who had lost their homes during the September 2019 Mirpur Earthquake. Over 100 houses have been inaugurated since December 2019 and we hope to complete the remaining houses by the end of 2020.
