IT’S A PIECE OF CAKE!
Last (Islamic) year 2021, during the Ramadhan period, you may have spotted the friendly faces of our MusKORTeers as they unloaded the van full of delicious chocolate fudge cakes right to your doorstep. Allhamdulillah, we had a great response and through their relentless hard work, as well as the generous donations of our donors and supporters such as yourself, we were able to raise a large amount funds for the children at our Orphanage.
In 2019 we managed to raise £107,880 and in 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions the Cake 4 Orphans campaign did not take place.
In 2021 Allhamdullilah we raised a massive £109,990.00 all of which the funds will be spent towards the orphans in KORT, the upkeep of the Complex and other projects. That’s a total of 10,910 cakes sold in our Cakes 4 Orphans campaign. We were very disappointed the previous year during 2020 when were unable to deliver this project due to COVID19 restrictions, especially when so many people look forward to our cakes during this time of year.
This is a yearly project that we deliver on a yearly basis during the month of Ramadhan. Inn sha Allah we will be continuing this project during the following Ramadhan too. 100% of the profits will go towards the charity, and the money spent on it will mean you have a tasty treat to feed family and friends for Iftar. Yummy.
Lastly a huge shoutout to the High Wycombe team for raising the most awareness during the Cakes 4 Orphans project. Excellent work guys and girls!
