KORT became the first organisation in Azad Kashmir and second in Pakistan to have a General Officer in Command by Office and Commandant by Office as official Members of the Governing Body of a charity by Official Approval. Major General Majid Jahangir (GOC) 19 Division Mangla, Pakistan, was part of KORT’s Governing Body Meeting to discuss important issues, updates and plan for future projects.
Due to the unique concept, transparency and great humanitarian work of KORT, several Senior Government and High-Ranking Army Officials have visited KORT recently to witness at first-hand the excellent care provided for orphan children at KORT.
