We treat every donation as an Amanah and use it only for the cause/ project that you donated this for. For instance, ₤5 for orphan support will be allocated completely for the Orphan Support.
Types Of Contribution We Accept:
Gift Aid - To Pay Our Admin And Costs
As a UK taxpayer you can increase the worth of your donation by 25%, by including Gift Aid. This is a Plan, operated by the UK Government, allowing tax to be reclaimed by charities from eligible contributions. Not all contributions are gift-aid qualified, such as contributions made by organizations or by someone who is out of work etc. We will utilize the Gift Aid, where it is available, to cover the admin. costs of the Charity, such as lease, utilities, earnings, overheads etc.

Contribution Allowance Policy
At KORT we run a stringent “Restricted Fund Policy” which implies that all donations made to us are assigned to a particular cause/ task which is picked by each donor at the point of donation. This implies that contributions made to support orphans, for instance, cannot be utilized for tent improvements in refugee camps. Contributions are received via online payments, bank transfer or money payments.
For online contributions each donor by means of our website or crowdfunding pages is aware of cause/task for which they are donating. Each contribution therefore is allocated to the stated cause.
For payments made in money we ask the donor to provide us the job/cause for which they are contributing in order to designate it appropriately.
Payments made into our checking account should include a referral which the donor will find on our website or in the appeal text which they might have gotten for which they are donating. The donors can likewise contact KORT office to request a recommendation number. If no reference is mentioned, then the funds are designated to where needed most.
