During 2010 one of the worst floods to hit Pakistan in living memory affected millions of people, leaving them homeless and in need. KORT responded by teaming up with the Midland Doctors Association (MDA) and Derby Khidmah Group (DKG). Many lives were at risk as families with vulnerable children and the elderly were living in temporary shelters. There were some families who had no roof over their heads and may not have survived for much longer in the harsh weather conditions. KORT along with its 2 partners went to one of the worst hit areas; Nowshera, to build 171 new homes for the most needy of families.

Just 4 years after the catastrophic floods of 2010, the region was again hit by floods leaving thousands of families homeless and without shelter. KORT together with its partners Derby Khidmah Group (DKG), Midland Doctors Association (MDA), Derby Jamia Masjid and Radio Ikhlas Derby acted swiftly to arrange emergency relief and distributed it to the worst hit areas. The aid included clothes, blankets, clean drinking water and more. As it was close to Eid, we also went around handing out Eid Gifts to the young children who had no belongings left.
