At KORT, we regularly take our children on day trips to help enhance the social, personal and emotional development of the children. During December 2015 the children were taken to several attractions in Islamabad. The children learned about the culture and heritage of Pakistani people at the Lok Virsa Museum and also visited one of the famous Landmarks of Pakistan: the Shah Faisal Mosque in Islamabad.
Life is full of challenges and we owe it to our children to equip them with the skills to recognise risks, assess them sensibly and react positively. For this reason the children were taken to Margalla Zoo to understand the importance of taking care of the environment as this has a significant impact on the lives and welfare of animals. It was very delightful to witness the wonder and amazement in the children’s eyes! Their faces lit up and their smiles came alive as they pointed to each animal in excitement.
