Riding for Orphans & Building Hope in Kashmir

Assalamualaikum,

I am thrilled and honoured to be taking part in the Tour de KORT Hijrah Ride 2027 – a unique charity cycling journey following in the footsteps of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from Makkah to Madinah.

This is not just a ride. It is a journey of faith, endurance, and compassion. By cycling this historic route, I want to raise vital funds for KORT’s new state-of-the-art hospital in Mirpur, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) – the KORT Healthcare City.

About KORT (Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust)

Since 2005, KORT has been a beacon of hope for hundreds of orphan children in Azad Kashmir and Pakistan. They provide loving homes, food, clothing, education, and medical care.

Now, KORT is building AJK’s largest and most modern healthcare facility – a 500-bed hospital that will serve thousands of families, especially vulnerable orphans and underprivileged communities. The hospital will provide free care for all eligible orphans and needy patients.

Why I’m Riding

Every kilometre I pedal will be dedicated to these children and to the families who need quality healthcare. The Hijrah Ride symbolises moving from hardship to hope – exactly what KORT does every single day.
