Urgent Aid is in need as death toll set to climb on. KORT is appealing for more international aid, as Afghanistan battles to survive with the shattering earthquake in a rocky eastern region that has left more than 1,000 people deceased and many more wounded.
With the war-ravaged country currently traumatized by an economic crisis. The earthquake has now hit areas that were currently experiencing the consequences of severe rain, triggering rockfalls and mudslides that are obstructing rescue attempts.
