The orphan children we support have lost either one or both of their parents. Our aim is to keep them in our care until they graduate, secure a job, and can sustain themselves. In some cases, a child may leave KORT and return to a guardian who is in a better financial position to care for them. In these situations, KORT conducts thorough checks to ensure that the decision is in the best interest and well-being of the child. If a child leaves, we allocate the next available orphan child for you to continue your sponsorship.
At KORT, we ensure you stay connected with your sponsored child. The KORT Admin team will send you yearly updates during Ramadan, including:
Yes, you can send letters to your sponsored orphan through our organization. We review the content to ensure it adheres to our safeguarding policies. After approval, the letters are forwarded to the KORT officer in Pakistan, who will deliver them to the orphan and their family. Please note that responses from the child depend on the individual child and their guardians, and some may not reply.

At KORT UK, we understand the desire to send gifts to your sponsored child. Currently, we do not have a courier option for sending gifts directly to Pakistan. However, you can still brighten your sponsored child's day by purchasing a gift through our KORT Gift Option.
By using our gift option, you can choose from a range of presents that will be delivered directly to the child in Pakistan. This ensures that your sponsored child receives a thoughtful gift without any logistical complications.
The Hifz Sponsorship Programme at KORT is designed to provide comprehensive support to children undertaking the memorization of the Quran. The duration of the programme varies depending on the individual child's learning pace and dedication. On average, it takes about 2 to 5 years for a child to complete the Hifz program, although some may finish in a shorter or longer time frame.
Our programme not only focuses on the memorization of the Quran but also ensures that the children receive quality education and participate in extracurricular activities. This holistic approach helps in nurturing well-rounded individuals who are knowledgeable, skilled, and spiritually enlightened.
