In 2009 the Leicester Marathon was officially commenced by our honourable guest and World Olympic Champion Mo Farah who came to show his support for KORT. The event was attended by adults and children from all walks of life and raised much needed awareness and support for KORT. The Federation of Muslim Organisation (FMO), Khidmah Organisation and Leicester Stars were also proactive in their support in making this event a success.
