In Loving Memory of Aiza Ishaq (2009–2021) — Our golden star, known for her beautiful smile. Whose life taught us patience, compassion, and the immeasurable value of time. Her strength, resilience, innocence, and the love she brought into the world has been our greatest inspiration. Aiza passed peacefully  on 29/10/21  with all her loved ones around in the paediatric intensive care unit in John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. Aiza will be forever missed and always in our hearts.  In her honour and tribute to her life, we will continue our determination advocating for better access to healthcare for children everywhere.  Thank-you for standing with us, for honouring her memory, and for helping turn loss into hope for other families.

Sanum Manaf, Registered Nurse, Berkshire, West London.

We are fundraising to help KORT purchase essential medical equipment for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust (KORT) Hospital in Jorian, Azad Kashmir. The hospital will provide free healthcare for the poor and needy. It will specialise in paediatrics and cardiology, serving vulnerable communities across Pakistan.

This appeal is led by Aiza’s mother, Sanum, a London‑based nurse who understands firsthand the life‑saving difference an ICU can make.

“A NICU provides round the clock monitoring for newborns who are premature, very small or seriously ill. Doctors and nurses closely monitor babies’ heart rate, breathing and oxygen levels, while providing treatments such as ventilators and oxygen for breathing support and tube or intravenous feeding.  They also treat serious life threatening infections and provide organ support, allowing for stability and recovery.
During a critical illness, every second matters. For many, it is the difference between life and death.”

We aim to raise £120,000 to equip the NICU — a lasting sadaqah jariyah that will save young lives and support families in their darkest moments.

The Prophet (pbuh) said: “Charity does not decrease wealth.”

May Allah (swt) accept this charity, grant shifa (healing) to the sick, and make it a source of continuous reward. Ameen.

May Allah place barakah (divine blessing) in the wealth of those who give and reward every supporter abundantly in this life and the hereafter. Ameen.
