One of the all-time best playback singers in the Indian and Pakistani music industries, Atif Aslam, visited KORT in August 2020 and was amazed by the high level of care provided for orphaned children.
KORT in collaboration with the Mirpur Government Administration started a massive COVID-19 Safety Awareness Campaign called ‘MIRPUR CARES’. The purpose of this campaign is to educate citizens about the COVID-19 symptoms, safety, prevention and compulsory Do’s and Dont’s while they are in their homes or out in the bazars (shopping districts).
Another Water Filtration Plant was inaugurated at the DHQ Hospital in Kotli as part of our KORT Clean Water Project. This will provide thousands of people with safe water for drinking, cooking and cleaning. Water for their crops and animals and the chance to break out of the poverty cycle.

A historic occasion for KORT! The Honourable Prime Minister of Pakistan; Imran Khan Sahib visited the KORT Educational Complex on 06 February 2020. The Prime Minister inaugurated The KORT Educational & Residential Complex, interacted with the children and visited Classrooms and Residential Hostels for orphan boys and girls.
As part of our ‘Turning Disability into Ability’ Project, 200 wheelchairs were distributed in Swabi KP Pakistan recently in the presence of the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan; Honourable Asad Qaiser Sahib, 50 wheelchairs were distributed in G7 Islamabad and a further 50 wheelchairs distributed in Trarkhal, Sudhnoti, AJK.
