A wheelchair is one of the most commonly used assistive devices to promote mobility and enhance quality of life for people who have difficulties in walking.
Wheelchair mobility opens opportunities for wheelchair users to study, work and engage in social activities.
In addition to providing mobility, an appropriate wheelchair benefits the physical health and quality of life of the users by helping in reducing common problems such as pressure sores, progression of deformities and improve respiration and digestion.
With the generosity of our donors, we have already distributed hundreds of wheelchairs across Azad Kashmir and parts of Pakistan.
Please continue to support this project as we aim to carry out regular wheelchair distributions in needy and deprived areas to assist the less able people.
Each wheelchair costs £60 and Zakat, Sadaqah, Lillah and general donations are accepted for this project.
